Perspective as to what's important becomes very clear if I only had 24 hours to live. Given the uncertainty of life, it's good for me to remember what's important, what's my priority in this precious life.
I don't think hot tantric rituals, the next self awareness & freedom therapy group, success, money and my endless 'things to do list' would rank highly at that point in time. It would be a time to see how much I had enquired into, and dedicated myself to stopping, and resting in the underlying love and peace that is beyond all that I have been given, beyond all that I identify with.
I realize that now is the time to dedicate myself to that, to stop, relax and simply be here, and not be habitually and endlessly on the move. To have the courage to stop.
