The people we refuse to embrace are the ones' that reflect to us the very things that we refuse to meet in ourselves.
In that rejection we not only separate ourselves from others, but we live in separation from ourselves.
So often we gravitate towards those that shelter and support us in our fear and avoidance to meet what needs to be met. In that mutual collusion we judge and reject the very people that offer us salvation from our fear, and the opportunity to truly love and end separation.
The more we refuse to meet aspects of ourselves the more arrogant, opinionated judgemental and righteous we become.
And all of that is born out of our fear.
Our fear to love.
