TEDDY TALKS ~ ON CINDARELLA & THE LOST BOOT

At the midnight hour I ran from love; in fear of being really seen,
I left my boot I left my heart; it all seemed like a dream.

I have limped through life in search of love, naïve to what was wrong,
With each step the pain was my true north,
My compass to get back home.

Fear was my constant companion; movement my great escape
I cried to god; to stop this pain, before it was too late.

A boot came flying though the air on a stormy lightning night
It hit my head it hit my heart; so familiar and so dear
Thunder rumbled lightning struck; the rain washed away my fear.
