Driving down Myocum road today on my way home, I saw a very familiar sight, or more precise, a very familiar life situation for me. This cow was braving barbed wire and stretching out, straining, getting stressed and putting so much effort into getting the "special" grass on the other side of the fence to eat. When I looked, the same grass was in abundance all around her in the field she was in.
I don't see myself as a cow, but I could definitely relate.
Everything can appear to be better and really happening out there through the fence.
I couldn't help but reflect on the wisdom of old cows like Bertha that have gone before this young cow, and the truth that they had discovered .
